Looks like he already has the tools.. the question was if removal of the cam
pulley is necessary.  Yes, in order to remove the water pump you have to
remove the rear cover behind the timing belt.  It IS possible to remove the
water pump without removing the rear cover but you'll really mangle it in
the process.  Just remove it.
