The Automatics are problems waiting to happen. Yours already has.
As Huw suggested, look for another one (isn't that Alfa? Always
Looking For Another?). But this time, go for a Quattro. It's what
separates Audis from your run-of-the-mill German car. Plus the
older ones come only with manual transmissions, which don't have
the problems of the automatics. That's not to say there won't
be other problems, but that is what this list is for.
And Welcome to the Fraternity. You become an official member
when you spill blood fixing your Audi.
