Wheels/Tires for 89 200Q

Ben,

I have an 87 5ktq with 16" A6 (i think 8 spoke) wheels with 205/55/15 tires
and have no clearance issues.  Course you can barely fit a credit card
between the tire and the end of the tie rods but they dont rub.  The rears
also fit without any rubbing.

I believe 45mm is the proper offset.
My brother has a set of the 5 spoke early A4/A6 16" sport wheels on his '89
200Q.  I think there was a slight clearance issue with the fender lips (I'm
not sure what tire width he went with), but he just pulled them (the rear
fenders) out a little to fix the problem.  He got his wheels from the Tire
Rack.
