clicking relay sound

Oh gosh....I forgot to mention that this a 91 200 20v tq ! There does not
appear to be any correlation between revs and the clicking relay sound,
which again, is eminating from the kick panel that houses the ECU. It's very
irregular in pattern. There also seems to be a slight vacuum sound
associated with the clicks. I think I'm going to have to break out the
Bentlys and open 'er up.

This is a US car right Doh! K.. is the ticking sound rapid and
increase with increased revs ? Sounds to me like its what im hearing
on
mine and its upsetting my idle speed and other stuff. I understand
from the
list under "MMMMM wosssup" that its the "idle control valve" thats
ticking.
I personally didnt hear it before but its become louder so it maybe on
its
way out. Im not a techie at these quattro things (hence joining the
list)
but if what you describe is accurate then I think it could be this.
Look out
for more advanced UR guys on this one tho.
