Mine have the original Dunlop SP8000's and I have more clearance
than you mention. That is surely nothing more than tire mfr's
differences.
I haven't really looked at the rears. I can share that when I picked
up the car in Wisconsin it had a set of snow tires/wheels in the trunk
and the rear shocks were/are very tired. So it was loaded, fairly
heavily, and suspension motions were exaggerated because of the
shocks. I had no rubbing in the rear whatsoever. I think the fender
lip is the only concern back there, right?
