Actually, they all went over to Gr.A, which they all are still running. I
believe maximum hp is 300 or 350, but I'm not sure.
Audi was only successful in rallying when they were the only ones with 4wd.
They blew the doors off the Opels, Lancias and other 2wds, but when the rally
circus continued after the Gr.B adventure, the other manufacturers had 4wd too
and Audi wasnt that successful.
But it is not completely true that Audi pulled out of rally after Gr.B was
banned. They entered the 200 Tq for a couple of years after Gr.B. Walter Rörhl
was their star driver in the 200. See Audistory.com for more info.
