Why Audi stopped rallying

Actually, Seat is not contesting for the championship this year,
taking part in only four rounds of the WRC, and they are contesting
some national championships as well (Germany & Spain??) with the same
car. Incidentally, the Octavia engine is closely related to the 1.8T
engine, being a 2litre 5-valve per cylinder version of the same. The
2 litre "Black Shadow" Golf made by MTM has a lot of the engine
technology of the Octavia WRC, without the restrictor as required on
the WRC cars by the FIA.
