The worm didn't come through the list.  The worm gets into your email
program and sends itself as a reply to unopened messages in your
inbox.  Any unopened messages from the quattro list were replied to in
this manner because the list settings are such that when you hit reply
to a list message it goes directly to the sender and not to the list.
If it went to the list the attachment wouldn't get through.

Basically it farms email addresses and sends itself to them, self
propogation is it's main goal.
