Hi
As wrote You I have an ´87 100 Quattro Avant for temporary
transportation needs and maybe later i´ll serve as our 2:nd car.
I just by accident found almost free ´87 MC-engine.
( first planned to spend no $ for this car, but this swap
seems to be so easy ) Now I´d like to go for it.
So I have some questions:
How I´ll manage without ECU, just decided not to touch the
electronics and to use the original ignition ( and regulated
distributor ) etc?
WG without FV, straight line from the manifold, perhaps using
0.6-0.8 Bar instead of original 0.42? Without ECU there´s no
overboost switching.
Because the compression is only 7.8, I think it`ll work ok.
with 98 gas?
In this market area there´s no cat at this yearmodel. But is there
something at K-Jet, that needs ECU? ( ISV and cold acceleration
enrichment etc. will be regulated by the original system )
