V6 12v is VERY tunable...

As others have pointed out, it is the VR6 motor, a close friend of mine
acutally rode it the car and said it was ungodly fast...

There is nothing IHERENTLY bad about the 2v Audi V6, however, to make it
"untuneable". There is just no aftermarket support for it (much like an 80
quattro- see www.80tq.com), but you can't let that stop you. A 2v V6 would
be a great motor with a turbo on each side, I would bet 300 hp easliy running
mild boost and stock internals, 400 pushing it a little. It is just a matter
of making it happen, and often that is the hardest part...

These guys took a Beetle dropped in a Audi V6 24v (Euro) engine and
installed a quattro system out of a TT. Then they strapped a couple (two)
KKK turbochargers to it and started kicking out 500 HP. They said that this
could be done with either the Euro 24v or the US 12v engine. All the parts
used (at least on the drivetrain) are OEM VW/Audi parts. We just need to
get a part lists from them!!
