No more oil consumption!

How about this one?  The bad 02 sensors caused the car to run rich and not
reach full operating temperature?,  Washing of the cylinders and more loss
through the rings?  I have never heard of such a transformation before.

Actually, it is possible. The mechanism would be rich mixture caused
by failed oxy sensors, causing oil to be washed off cylinder walls
and burned. Maybe wouldn't cause this much of a problem, but it could
cause some effect.
