Usually, yes.  I lowered the one in my 90.  Brendan's (4kq) got
remounted down on the frame by the engine mount area.

Test fitting will tell you if other things are awkward.  Like the coil,
PS reservoir, battery... we lowered B's PS res. a bit.  Coil and PS are
"easy" to lower.  Battery, well, it's an Audi, it belongs in the trunk
anyway!  (Summit kit + Walmart batt. box + power dist block)
