When I first started buying fuel for cars, "regular" was 17  (that's 
seventeen!!!) cents a gallon.  When I first got out of college, I was 
commuting 50 miles daily round-trip and driving an average of 20 miles 
daily on my job, and I was paying 25 cents a gallon.
