getting frustrated

Stil trying to figure out my boost problem on the 85 ur-q. The car is pretty 
fast as it sits now. However, I'll be sitting at a stop light or something, 
hear a click, and the idle goes up. Then when I trounce on it, the car 
absolutely screams, sounds different and all. Has TAP computer mods and 
spring. 
What gives???
