Damn CV Boots (91 200) (Rant)

Ryan;
I sold my '91 200q at 280,000 km - it still had the original CV boots in
good condition.
The CV boots on my '94 S4 are fine at 130,000 km.
The OEM boots should last a long time. Are you replacing them with
cheaper aftermarket boots?
