Axle Bolt Specs - '88 90q

Bentley says two options for 90q front axle/wheel
bearing bolt:
1.) If M14x1.5 torque to 88 ft-lbs then 1/4 turn more;
2.) If M16x1.5 torque to 147 ft-lbs then 1/4 turn
more.

I have bolt in hand.  The only marking on the head is
10.9.  How do I know which one I have and therefore
the torque setting?  I think the Mxx notation is
thread related and the 10.9 is bolt strength related.
