bra woes

well, i got the oem bra this winter. it looks great. i took
it on one 4-day trip to tahoe where it snowed a LOT. ice had
formed up on the nose of the car and various parts of the bra.
i took it off right when i got home.

the bra uses two stiff triangular shapes to, it appears, take
the wind and keep the bra pushed down on the car. they have
a little bit of weight to them. this is all fine and good,
except that when i took it off after the trip, they had marked
the paint a bit. visible at 4 feet or less.

so, why??? was it from moisture under the bra? or ice? or
the fact that at times i cruise at 85mph when in the flats
and valleys with little traffic and good weather?

i am about to make a road trip to oregon and want to utilize
the bra but don't want to further this - it can probably be
buffed out. it's likely to rain in oregon most of the time
i am there, and i'll be camping so the car will sit for 4
	days in said rain.

reccommendations? i should rephrase, reccomendations besides
getting a stonguard, which is impossible before my trip.

	thanks, o seers!
