Well thanks for the input guys, looks like this will be a little different than
I thought.
NF pistons is what I'll go with. The difference in 2v vs. 4v head combustion
chamber gives me approx 9.0:1 CR. Putting the NF pistons in the 7A block will
yield a NF block (as per Fernaudi's project t44).
Hitachi blows. I'll use an EFI system (say Javad, how much to piece together
yours, not incl. laptop?). This will let me use whatever injectors I want. Much
more tuneable too.
That and 3b turbo pieces should make a 20v turbo for much less than the 11.5k
that 2Bennet charges for the conversion.
While I'm on the topic of Hitachi ECU, could I disconnect the fuel part of the
system and still use it to give spark? This would make things much simpler for
me. I guess it would spit out engine codes like no tomorrow, but I can deal with
that.
