The Delta-CC radio is found on the 1995.5-1997 A6 and S6, 1996-98.5 A4,
and 1997-98 A8s. The cassette slot cover says "Audi delta", and the
face plate is wider than a standard DIN.
Your 89 200q probably has the older model "Audi Delta" which is not the
same as the later "Delta-CC". The type 8A (C4) Audi 100/A6 series from
1992-1995.5 typically came with the "Audi Gamma" radio.
Just to complete the list of US model stock radios, here is what I know:
Model years Model Audi Radio CD changer option
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1984-88 4000/5000/CGT Rothenburg -
1988-94 80/90/CQ Wiesbaden -
1994-95 Cabriolet Wiesbaden -
1989-91 100/200/V8 Delta 6 disc (???)
1992-95.5 100/A6/S4/S6 Gamma 10 disc (???)
1995.5-97 A6/S6 Delta-CC 6 disc (Alpine)
1996-98.5 A4 Delta-CC 6 disc (Alpine)
1996-97 Cabriolet Delta-CC 6 disc (Alpine)
1997-98 A8 Delta-CC 6 disc (Alpine)
1998.5-99 A4 Concert 6 disc (Panasonic)
1998-99 A6 Concert 6 disc (Panasonic)
1999 A8 Concert 6 disc (Panasonic)
2000-current TT Concert 6 disc (Panasonic)
2000-current A4/A6/A8 Symphony 6 disc (Panasonic)
AFAIK in all cases the radio is the same regardless of whether the car has
the Bose option or not, except on some models the radio has an "Audi/Bose"
label printed on the face plate.
Let me know if there is an error in this list.
