Mark--
My 80q does this a to!! It's actually "just" low on coolant. When the coolant sloshes around in the tank it causes the light to go on. My light only comes on during fast right-hand turns. After I add just a LITTLE coolant the problem goes away for a few weeks then returns. I have to fix a leaky hose (I already have a hose for it...I'm just being lazy)
MORAL: Your just a little low on coolant. I KNOW that it LOOKS full but these sensors are VERY picky. Add just a little bit of coolant to the overflow tank and your problem, will go away. If it returns again in a few weeks you need to track down your coolant leak!!
Good luck!!

List:
What would make the water temp light activate when slowing for sharp right hand turn at low rpm's (meb'be 1500) at around 20 mph? Flashes perhaps two or three times in midst of turn then stays off. Coolant level good in expansion tank. Typically happens at one turn in my daily commute. If I slow well before the turn and turn slowly, no light. If I am decelerating and turning and then accelerate out of the turn, it happens.
TIA,
Mark
