I believe that drilled rotors are also better in the rain or under wet road
conditions since they allow the film of water existing between the pads and
the rotors to disperse more quickly.
At least this is the feel I get from my RS2's brakes which are drilled front
and rear.
Almost immediate grip on the brakes despite of any water on the road.
