Powerless steering Finally!!

I cut the power steering belt on my ' 83 CGT just to see what it would feel
like and it actually wasn't too bad. Parallel parking isn't the joy that it
used to be but at anything over 3mph the steering is one-hand-able (and I'm
not by any means huge or enormously strong). On the road and through the
twisties the rack feels nice and tight with great on center feel and I can
feel what the tires are doing better (time for rotation). I have had no
problems with horriffic ABS pulsing through the wheel, I wonder why, but
thanks to all those who forwarded me info on T44 ps hoses. My plan now is to
remove the pump and reservoir, fill the rack with fluid, and cap off the
lines so it doesn't leak. I think after I remove the pump I'll be fairly
close to a 60/40 front/rear weight distribution all from moving and removing
bits from my car.

Hope this is interesting to someone
