Are you sure that it is the ABS warning, and not the brake light?
Symbol should be a brake symbol with a "!" inside. If it lights up
every time you apply the brakes, it's probably the bomb (brake
pressure accumulator) that needs replacement. About $220. I had
exactly the same problem on my '90 200TQ..
