Need Help desparately. A6 won't run.

Thanks for that insight. That was my thought. After all, the manual says to
do exactly that. I don't want to do any more damage than I may have already
done. Unfortunately my mechanic is about 40 miles from here. I was supposed
to take it to the the dealer tomorrow for the fuel injectors recall. I might
have to have them bring it in, but I hate having anything done there that
isn't free (recall). I don't trust them and they have been wrong about
several things in the past.
