It seemed like a good day...

Everything was going fine today, had a pleasant 50 mile trip in bright
sunshine at lunchtime to collect a second set of Fuchs wheels, the this
evening things went belly up.
Made a detour on my way home from work to collect some items that were about
5 miles from home. Just before I got there the engine cut out twice within
30 seconds - no warning, just stopped. Restarted straight away without a
problem, and the car started ok after I'd picked up the bits. Got home, left
the engine running and checked for codes. 2312, coolant sensor, ok, the car
was a little low on coolant, but not by much. Topped it up and now it won't
start. Everything looks and sounds ok, it just won't fire. I've given up for
now because the engine appears to be flooded (really stinks of petrol). In
fact, it seemed to flood _very_ quickly.
No codes stored now and I haven't checked for a spark yet.

Anybody any thoughts?

Regards,

Jim Haseltine
