My fittings broke off as well, my plan is to weld on a internally
threaded boss and use some more common fittings and hoses which I
have. I hope it works. Right now I have the cooler bypassed and the
hose is just looped back.
An aftermarket cooler would be cheaper than replacing the OE one but
would require some mounting mods.
I think all the fittings break off, that way they get to sell even
more overpriced parts.
