Hello all,

First off, my car has developed some rear end squeaks approaching 190k miles,
so next weekend I'll be tearing the suspension apart to do some
"modifications."

My first question is about the differences between the 2Bennett coilover system
and the Ground Control system: 20v.org claims that 2Bennett may source their
coilover system from Ground Control. Is there any experience with either of
these kits? I'd prefer not to spend more money on the same thing. I'll be
mating the coilovers to bilstein HD shocks, good source on those? How long can
I expect to spend on this project? What special tools should I get to make the
job easier? I'm planning on getting tool 3078 (open socket for allen wrench
access) soon from the local dealer.

Next, while I have my suspension apart, what bushings/strut mounts/etc. should
I replace? I'd prefer not taking my suspension apart for a long while.

Also, I just bought some MB Quart 6.5" speakers for the rear of my car. The
old speakers look like they're held in by some retaining ring and that I can
twist them out. Will I need to drill holes for the new speakers? Should I
mount them from the bottom or top? How should they be wired (component set
with crossover)?

Finally, saw a beautiful black UrQ on the way to work today in Wilmette IL at
the intersection of Sheridan Rd, and Lake Ave. I was in the red 90q about 2
cars back in the left turn lane, I honked. This was the first UrQ i can recall
seeing, pretty car.

If there are any websites detailing my work ahead, please send URLs. Also, how
similar is my car to the UrQ in the Audi Driver special for suspension mods?
There are some pretty decent pictures that hopefully will be helpful.

TIA

Nathan Engelbert
