CGT digidash lighting solution

Okay, after much debating finding the rare bulbs that go into the CGT's
digital dash, I stumbled upon a much cheaper solution at Home Depot.

A halogen desk lamp bulb uses the same socket as the digidash's, and
everything works great so far. The only concern I had was the higher
wattage of the non-stock bulbs (the smallest halogens are 10W, that I was
able to find); however, there's no real brightness difference between those
and the remaining stock bulb. These bulbs are $4.xx apiece, and aside from
a slight difference in the bulb shape (which casts a faint 'donut' in the
center of each panel due to the difference in focus), they're functionally
identical and a lot cheaper.

Of course, that doesn't correct the manual palm-dash adjustment required to
keep the tach lighted. Tomorrow, I break out the sandpaper.

If it didn't suck, it wouldn't be everything.
