Head bolt socket size

Good morning.  You need to have in your toolbox a set of the triple square
sockets.  8mm, 10mm, and 12mm.  I believe the head bolts are 12mm, and the
inner CV joint bolts are generally 10mm.  8mm is used on the CV bolts on the
smaller cars.  Get quality tools because the fasteners are frequently very
tight.  The head bolts require a half turn from a base torque, and the CV
bolts are usually not only tight but filled with crud that must be cleaned
out before using the tool.  BTW, head bolts are NOT reused.  Snap on sells a
good one, and Stahlwille or Hazet (and Facom) in Europe as well as the US.
