If you're used to VWs then Audis should not be too much of a challenge.
They are different but not too different...

A good place to check out is the SJM site http://www.sjmautotechnik.com
For type 44 related info.  You'll have the non-turbo NF engine (2.3L
130hp high compression) instead of the turbo MC engine found on the
turbo cars, and you don't have quattro, but most of the rest are applicable.
