Huh? The guy at the $hop (the importer'$ $hop, d'Ieteren in Brussels FYI)
told me that there was no way for him to find this tool's references becaus=
e
they can only sell it to an authorized dealer's workshop, not to a private
person...g*dd*mn it, this guy was f***in with me!!! I'm just so angry
because now I figure that it's more a matter of him not wanting to order it
for me rather than a matter of unavailability of the part for private
people...oh well...

Yeah that'd be nice so I'll have a great pleasure to order it from exactly
the same guy, just to show him that I know how to manage to find "special
forbidden tools" references...can you imagine that he told me that ny other
guy that I knew of who had the tool "bought it illegally because VAG cannot
sell these tool$" ????? Unbelievable!!!

Yup, thanks, actually I did an exhaustive research last night and I've read
90% of all the posts that contained "crank pulley" "crank bolt" and "tranny
bolt"!!! I couldn't even believe that there is such a huge amount of posts
about the same subject....I've even found one of your posts about your MB
engine wanting to turn completely when tou tried to remove the crank bolt,
Phil!!! :))))

Okay, thanks again to all of you who replied to my post, I think I feel a
little more comfortable with the idea that I'll do a timing belt and water
pump party this week-end!!!

Anyway, (to Pat Dooley) if you find the pictures of your home made 2084
kinda quickly and email them to me, maybe I won't be obliged to order that
$*%=A3@|& 2084 from the importer'$ and I could have a proper tool for
saturday...
