The cleanest way to do the power is what Huw mentioned- you get
something called a power distribution block from a car stereo place-
I believe Lightning Audio sells some of the cheaper ones that are
still decent quality. They also make really nice inline fuse holders
that are very useful in this setup as well. Just run a 0 gauge wire
from the positive terminal, then run that into the distribution block
and run the smaller stuff out. That should be way overkill and plenty
for what you need.

Car stereo supply places should have a range of these. MCM electronics
(on line catalog, I think) has a few, fairly affordable.

You can get a variety of simple big-in severall small-out blocks, and
also ones with fuse holders for each circuit.

the lower picture shows one in my Coupe, drawing power form the
alternator and (!) zip tied to the lower radiator hose.
