That's one very thin metal strip.  Usually the metal part of the shoe is
much thicker, 5 mm or more.  In any event, let's think in % - 10 % or 5 %
left means in the garbage bin.  If you wait any longer, metal might begin
braking on metal, and as someone said - need for a new drum, more dinero ...
