Decent response from Hella

Less than 6 months ago ( I can't remember exactly), I bought some Hella
H4+30 headlight bulbs from Susquehanna for around $10 a piece. Installed
one and compared it to a "normal" halogen H4 headlight, and could
definitely see a "whiter" light output. Now don't jump on me for those
"ricer" blue headlights, these aren't like that. They don't have a
ridiculous blue tint on them, just plain clear glass, but they put out a
definitively whiter light.

Anyway, last week, one of the low beams burnt out. I was not happy.
Wrote a "bitch" email to HellaUSA. Basically I told them that I expected
a replacement. Didn't hear anything back. So the other night, I was in
one of the local auto parts stores for something else, and saw a
Sylvania bulb called "Halogen XtraVision", claims to be up to 30%
brighter (called a 9003XV, and we all know the 9003 and H4 are basically
the same thing). So I bought it and installed it. I had been running
one of the "old" bulbs I had replaced with the H4+30, just so I would
have both headlights (don't need a ticket) and could definitely tell the
difference, so I was glad to have found a replacement. And it was indeed
a good replacement, I'm happy to report that the Sylvania bulb is just
as good as the Hella bulb, although I did pay a couple bucks more.

Now at work today, the exec-assistant for my boss comes up to me and
hands me a box and asks, "What's Hella?" I proceed to explain that they
produce headlights and such for cars and explain the burnt out headlight
issue. And sure enough, inside the box is a replacement H4+30 headlight
bulb. No charge.

So now I have a spare H4+30 bulb, cool. Now I just need to get around to
relaying the headlights for even more power. I definitely recommend the
H4+30 or the 9003XV over conventional halogen headlight bulbs.

Oh, just in case any of you want to get some Hella H4+30 bulbs from
Susquehanna, here's their site:
