I just want to inject here that these guys sell, for reasonably small
dollars, a very nice little relay harness that can be adapted to
headlight work.  You gotta chop some of it off, but you get the wire,
nicely split-loom-wrapped, realy, socket, and fuse holder all in one
package.  It's a Hella product.  Then all you need for your upgrade is a
nice new bulb socket of your choice with "pigtails" and either solder or
crimp connectors (your choice...) to finish the job.
