I too bought a set of the +30's for my B5 Passat Wagon - H4's.  The B5 uses=
 an H7 for the low beam and an H4 for the integrated fog(low beam) and the =
high beam.  The +30's were marginally better than the standard halogen H7 b=
ulbs of the same wattage (I think - 55)

A frind of mine bought a set of Sylvania Cool Blue H4's for his Tacoma with=
 the 7 x 6 hella headlamp upgrade.  I was expecting the ricey blue look and=
 was surprised to see just a VERY white light beam, NOT BLUE AT ALL.  So I =
got a pair of H7 cool blues for the Passat.  The low beam H7 cool blue make=
s +30 Hella fog beam(or the high beam for that matter) look like the yellow=
 Bosch foglamps on my '84 4KQ!!!

Anyway, I guess what I am trying to say is that Sylvania Cool Blue is actua=
lly a pretty nice upgrade bulb with a deceiving name.
