80/90/Coupe Quattro MC engine conversion group? (Type 89)

I am wondering how many people on the quattro list are currently doing mc-1 or
mc-2 conversions into Audi 80/90/coupe quattro between the model years
1988-1991(type 89)?

I am willing to collect the names of people currently doing this conversion, as
I am about to embark on myself, and distribute these names to the others in this
group.

Hopefully, as a group, we can come up with additions to the content from Dave
Close's 80 quattro conversion website, to make this conversion even easier for
others to perform.  For instance, dimensioned drawings of the necessary flywheel
modifications that could be taken to any machine shop, lists of Audi part
numbers for the clutch package, different solutions to the airbox/intercooler
puzzle that these cars present the builder, and simplified electrical schematic
diagrams for this swap for example.

I would propose that we should document what is different from the standard
4000tq conversion that is already pretty well documented out on the web,
hopefully we can find someone willing to post this information on a server for
others to use in the future.
