Audi Ownership Generations

Time for me to chip in my 2 penneth worth. There seems to be a split between
pre A series and after, now i work in an Audi centre in the UK, i sell the
cars and see all sorts of people who wanna buy Audi's. The one thing they
all have in common is they want a quality car not a BMW or Merc something
different with style and great design. A lot of people who are buying the
cars now, don't anything about the history and probably don't care, we
actually give them a book on delivery on the history with all the models
from day 1.

It's only people like us that care for our cars and appreciate what we have,
and like to fiddle and get our hands dirty that truly love them, for most
people it's a means of going from A to B. We know the history and maybe
that's part of the reason why we like to do this stuff to our cars and why
we like to run old cars when we could run something newer (but boring.

Personally i have 2 Coupe q's (both 86 models) in the drive, gone is the
company car, yes i have driven everything in the current Audi range, great
cars they are too, but i still love the I5 motor and the older 4wd system
when fully set up.

Call me sad if you like, but i know what i like.

Well- that would be really funny when you smoke him
with your station wagon- wonder what his face looks like
afterwards.

I want Joern's black monster wagon- 420hp would take care of
all of the pesky S4tts.
