Audi 4kQ- hardstart

right, but see this car is CIS-E and I have never messed with that before-
my Jetta is digifant, my sciroccos have been CIS. in any case, i have no
power to the thermo-time switch, and despite that I tried another switch
anyway and the cold start injector is still not firing.
I am starting to wonder about the CIS-E brain now, as near as I can tell
without taking the harness apart, the thermo-time switch gets power from the
computer or at least the computer harness. I also found that unplugging the
idle motor makes no difference on idle speed, another thing making me doubt
the computer. The car has also been getting TERRIBLE gas mileage- 16MPG,
which could be another computer symptom.
