Speaker Pocket Pics

    Hey folks.  Here are two shots of the speaker pockets I installed
several weeks back:

Note that on my door there is a "bulge" so the door panel conforms to meet
the knee bolster.  This is only in sedans that have airbags.  The non-airbag
and CQ should not have this door panel.  Anyways I was able to "machine"
away at the plastic to form it to the driver's door panel.  It took some
time, but I am very happy with the results.  The passenger's side took all
of an hour to install, that is including removal and installation of the
door panel.  With shallow speakers one doesn't even need to cut a circular
hole in the door behind the pocket, though with deeper speakers it's a must.
I just drilled a hole for the speaker cable and fit my speakers up.  The
grilles push in with a rubber seal and hold pretty well, pain to get in
actually.
