me too.

It occurs to me that the "simplest" way to do this, as if there were
one... is, since almost everything is stored in the archives in detail,
even ad nauseum, is that a question in the FAQ could simply have as its
answer links to the relevant posts in the archives.  lowers
redudandandandcy, and anyone who looks something up the hard way ends up
essentially creating a new Q/A for the FAQ.  If there was an "easy" way
for them to submit their Q and the links going to the A, nobody would
really ever have to "write anything up" since it's already been done.

If the submission was able to be keyed, during entry, by several
separately searchable fields (year, model, engine, "main group," etc.)
it might actually work.
