cracked EM, big crack

I am preparing to do this job next week. I have a sprung, manually
adjustable wastegated and chipped '86 5ktq that has broken everything. I am
useing a junkyard EM that I repaired by opening up the crack then brazeing.
My thoughts were that the braze would be more flexible than a weld.

I drilled out the two ends of the crack then cut open the crack with a
carbide coated wire that fits into a hacksaw to allow more material into the
repair. This hacksaw blade is normaly used to cut odd shapes in ceramic tile
and gave me about a 1/8th inch wide crevace to fill.

I trued up the flanges by using a straight flat surface (carpenter level)
with adhesive backed sandpaper. Course grit followed by finer grits, worked
really well!

New exhaust studs. New hydraulic lifters. New engine mounts. New
transmission mounts.

I wonder how long they will last this time?
