Konstantine

I had to press mine off on a spare I rebuilt for my 89 200TQ where
as the one I removed on my old 84 5000T just twisted off. Be vary
careful removing the impeller because it is vary fragile. When cleaning
I hand clean it and bead blasted (plastic Beads) the hot side impeller
to get all the carbon off . They now looks good as new.

Make sure that before you remove the impeller you mark the position
of it on the shaft. This is so when you put it back on it will in the
same
position in reference to the hot side impeller. This is to make sure the
unit
is still in balance after you assemble it (If it was balanced that way).

Hope this helps
