The pocket has plastic stubs that go into holes in the door panel. Then the
stubs are flattened with hot knife. If you put too much stuff in the
pocket, the flattened part of the stub easily breaks. Fortunately, the
stubs are hollow so it's easy to put a metal screw with a large washer into
each stub to firmly secure the pocket to the panel. Of course, you need to
remove the door panel to do it.
