4k won't run

Since the car starts and runs a few seconds, I doubt it's an ingition
problem. It is most likely running on the cold start injector until
the shut off. To confirm that it is a fuel problem, put a fuel soaked
rag inside the rubber boot, on top of the air valve. You should be
able to idle for 10 or 15 minutes on one rag.
What causes a lack of fuel? If your lucky, the coil is failing to
send the "running" signal to the fuel pump relay, so it shuts off-
but I don't think it would start at all in that case. You could just
jumper it to find out for sure.
Otherwise, the system pressure is not being properly controlled, this
is done by the little solonoid attached to the front of the fuel
distributor. and that is controlled by a some circuits hidden
somewhere, and powered by the previously mentioned "extra" fuse.
-good luck Brian
