Cleaning and repairing

Over the years the question often asked on these fora (is that still a
plural!!?) about cleaning this or that, often results in a reference to
several sites.

I have been battling to get some wheels cleaned as a result of chemical
residue from detailing spray getting onto them while they were hot.

This is where I got the answers to my questions and a whole lot more
besides.  Usual caveats but a real BTDT experience.
