I had ATE's on my old 5ktq and it braked significantly better than stock.

I've got ATE's on my Ur and there are times when the brakes do not instil
any confidence.
(usually sudden stops from 30mph, high speed stuff isn't too bad). Either
I've got some air in the system (don't think so) or the disk/pad combination
isn't all that it's cracked up to be.
