Heh...sounds like you had some fun. I (we) have the same problem around
here with the lack of, as we call it "spirited" drivers. I usually have
a tough time finding another Audi around here that will go 5 over the
speed limit let alone have while doing it. The closing thing I've
encountered to another Audi actually driving for fun was coming home on
I-95 from NH. Met up with an A6 owner and we played "who could stay
ahead for the longest". Was quite fun as I would pass him then a few
seconds later I would get stuck behind some traffic and then he would go
zipping by two lanes over "grrr".
The fun was broken up when the A6 passed some jack ass in a truck
on the right, the truck was driving in the middle and wouldn't move
over. After the A6 passed him the truck decided to get about 5feet from
his tail. After that the A6 slowed down and I lost site of him. Again
this was at night so the driver of the A6 prolly had a tough time seeing
with the truck lights being the perfect height to blind sedan drivers.
Anyways, besides that all we have to play with in these parts are
riced up Honda's and Eclipses, and none in this area have proved to be
any sort of challenge, or the driver just wasn't "spirited" enough.
Of course this problem is all solved when me and my brother go out
and about. We've made some fairly speedy runs on our back roads here
that have been a blast. It really is better driving with someone else
then by your self.

Well it looked like he had a lowered suspension setup, but on stock
16". I have the 90q20v on 225/40 16" which are about the same size as
the stock stuff, but I have a very tight stock suspension. He was
beating me out of corners for sure, but once I got the 20v rev'd up to
4k rpm I was banging right back up to his tail. Handling wise I'd say
we were on par, but he was going into corners a little faster than I
usually do, but perfectly do-able if not taken too early. I'd say his
torque down low was getting me out of corners, but my top end bhp was
letting me catch him. Was truly a fun driving experience!
