Rt. 17

Speaking of legally, or maybe idiocy, why is it that most people who I
actually do find that will drive fast with me are idiots and like to
pass in non passing zones, and on the roads around here there is a good
reason for that which is usually a hill and/or corner. Now I know doing
passing someone doing a buck 20 in a passing zone doesn't make it any
more legal, but at least you can see whats coming up ahead. I had a
firebird and some POS ford truck pass me and several other cars on no
passing zones both approaching a hill/corner. If it wasn't for the road
I would have caught up to them, but I didn't really feel like getting in
a head on collision. Kinda buts a damper in the day ya know.
Also on the way home I had an VW golf trying to keep up with me. Was
quite amusing as I let him catch up with me only to pull away from him
on a long straight away. That was the fastest I've had my car up to yet
and still had room in 5th. And I finally toped out 4th at about 120. I'm
still impressed with this 14 year old car.

and that's why you should participate in your local Qclub or Alfa
outings at
the track. You get to have this much fun legally, and usually have
someone
aboard who can show you how to do it better.
