In response to your earlier post.  Is there anything
worse than not being able to see.  Except "maybe"
extreme closing speed and no or insufficient brakes?
These washouts happened a few times early in my
motoring life.  Usually a hugh wave of sloppy brown
slush thrown over the median wall right on the
windscreen.  Now I ALWAYS make sure the washer tank is
topped up and the hoses/pump are as well as can be
had.  That's scary, high speed and NO vision, even for
a few seconds.
